Mary Dillon Memorial Award for Outstanding Dairy Exhibitors
To be considered for the Mary Dillon Memorial Award for Outstanding Dairy Exhibitors you must be 16 years or older, be a current 4-H / FFA member and must have completed 3 or more years of a dairy breeding project. An award application must be completed by eligible youth and returned to the MSU Extension Office by Thursday, September 15, 2011. The winner will be announced at fair during Dairy Night, Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Application forms are available at the MSU Extension Office or at this site under ‘documents’.
Marketing Your Livestock Project
Helpful information for marketing your livestock market project is posted on this site under ‘documents’. There is a tip sheet that leads you through the process of contacting and working with prospective buyers and you will also find brochures both for the large and for the small animal sale. The brochures explain the sale procedure, which will be helpful especially to new buyers.
