4-H Paper Clover promotion begins Oct. 8 at local Tractor Supply stores

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The fall 4-H Paper Clover Campaign is now at local Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores. This national partnership between TSC and 4-H has been held in the spring and fall of each year since 2010 at each of Tractor Supply Company’s 1,200 stores — including the 76 stores in Michigan.

Now through Oct. 19, customers at TSC stores will be able to buy paper 4-H clovers for $1 at checkout with proceeds benefiting the 4-H program where the store is located. Sixty-five percent of all funds raised will support the county 4-H program, 5 percent supports the state 4-H program, and 30 percent will go to National 4-H Council for underwriting the cost of the program.

“Our Paper Clover efforts are one of the key ways our stores can give back to the community," said John Wendler, senior vice president of marketing for Tractor Supply Company. "By providing essential funding for hundreds of thousands of 4-H young people, we are able to support local organizations that are important to both our customers and our team members. We’re proud to help improve the many communities in which we have stores through our partnership with 4-H.That is what Tractor Supply is all about."

The most recent fundraiser, held April 23 - May 4, 2014, raised more than $45,000 for Michigan 4-H and $787,769 nationally.

Once again, funds donated during the fall campaign will be tracked online and recorded by state and by store. Visit www.tractorsupply.com/4-H, for more information on the fall 2014 4-H Paper Clover Campaign and to view the donation tracker.
