Cut off the sides and fronts from empty cereal boxes, tissue boxes, dress boxes etc. and save. These clean, firm surfaces are great for children to use for drawing on. It's much cheaper than buying expensive scrapbooks and drawing paper.
Store small citrus fruits (lemons and limes) in an egg carton in the refrigerator.
