Leadership & Global Citizenship Spectacular!

Be part of the movement that has YOUth leading the way! Planned in the spirit of “thinking globally
and acting locally”, attending the Michigan 4-H Youth Leadership & Global
Citizenship Spectacular will help you become an outstanding leader who
approaches life with your head, heart, and hands open to new ideas, interesting
people, and diverse cultures.
The workshop features 21 incredibly fun sessions focused on youth
leadership, civic engagement, global citizenship, international cultures, life
skills and career exploration and workforce preparation. Sessions for the workshop have been planned,
and will be led, by youth and adult volunteers and MSU Extension staff. In addition to the 21 engaging breakout
sessions, additional highlight of the 2017 Spectacular include an exclusive
Saturday evening performance by the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit.
The 4-H Youth Leadership & Global Citizenship Spectacular will be
held January 28-29, 2017 at the Kettunen Center in Tustin, Michigan. This workshop is open to current and aspiring
leaders and volunteers, ages 12+ (by Jan. 1, 2017), and youth development
professionals.
Participants must register by January 8, 2017. The cost is just
$85 for 4-H members and $140.80 for non-members. Registration fees
include superb lodging, 4 delicious, home-cooked meals and conference resources.
