Birds Inside Out

Birds Inside SPIN club is your one stop shop for anything and everything bird related! From wild birds outside to pet birds in the home, this club will teach you about stewardship of all different kinds of birds. Using cockatiels and bluebirds as examples, this club will help you learn both how to care for the birds in your garden and help you decide if a pet bird is right for you! This FREE virtual club will meet Thursdays from 4-5pm EST July 15th to August 19th. The first 10 registrants will be sent free bluebird box making kits. Recommended age range 11-15. Winter Bird Feeder Kits

Ever wondered what birds eat in the winters? Are you a bird watcher? Do you have a youth that enjoys making things for the outdoors? Then this kit is for them!!! Please check out this kit!!!

The Winter Bird Feeder Kit includes self-paced project that can be completed at home for youth age 4 to 19 as of Jan. 1, 2021. Activity includes a piece of cardboard the youth can design and shape on their own. Peanut butter, bird seed, string to hang them. With some great education about why it's important to feed our birds during the Michigan Winters. Most supplies will be included in the box and the rest you should have at your home.

Cost: $10 for each box payable by card

Kits will be shipped directly to your home the week of Feb. 15, 2021. Number of kits are limited, so do not delay your registration! Registration is open until Feb. 12, 2021 and payment is non-refundable.

Parents or guardians of participating youth will be asked to do a follow-up survey at the end of the program.
