Household Hints - Save time, save money, save energy

A teaspoon of lemon extract in your cleaning water will eliminate bad smells in your refrigerator.

Run shoelaces over beeswax or soap before lacing shoes or boots to make the knots last longer. Tie a knot in each end of the laces.
