Spring Bulb Activity Kits Available
Colorful,
blooming spring bulbs warm everybody's hearts in the middle of the winter, when
nothing is blooming outside, and in early spring. We have spring bulb activity
kits available for 4-H members! You will learn how to force spring bulbs for
early indoor bloom, or learn how you can plant them outside for colorful spring
bloom.
Each kit
includes:
- 10 daffodil bulbs
- 20 grape hyacinth bulbs
- 6 easy to follow spring bulb hand-outs.
Kits are
available for 4-H families with youth age 5 to 19. One kit per family. There is
no cost for the kits.

Kits must be picked up at the Hillsdale County MSU Extension Office, 20 Care Drive, Hillsdale, MI 49242, by Thursday, October 22nd.

There will
be a Spring Bulb Workshop on Friday, October 23rd, from 4:30 – 5:00
p.m. The workshop will be done using zoom. The link will be provided when you
have reserved your activity kit.
