Do you love Science? Do you love to explore? Join friends from Traverse Area District Library to learn behaviors and patterns of butterflies and squirrels all while helping Scientists!. You read that right! HELPING SCIENTISTS! For this citizen science project, we will track and observe different Butterfly species in our area, and report our findings to help Michigan Scientists understand the changing population status of our state’s butterfly species and evaluate the quality of Michigan ecosystems. The second half we will track squirrels and report the findings. Michigan butterfly watchers & Squirrel trackers SPIN Club will meet Thursdays July 22,29, August 5,12,19 and 26th. via zoom.
