Topics such as the rights,
responsibilities and requirements of large-volume water users, the importance
of soil and water relationships, and best management practices for irrigators
will all be covered in the general morning session. The session will also focus
on the hows and whys of irrigation scheduling and various tools available to
help growers make irrigation decisions.
In the afternoon, growers can choose
from two breakout sessions on design, use and maintenance of irrigation
systems. The goal of these workshops is to help growers get optimum yields and
use water efficiently.
Registration will begin at 9
a.m., with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. Lunch is
included.
RUP and CCA credits will be
available.
